COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY POWER HOUSE MATERIALS LIFT
At Columbia University in the Facilities Main Powerhouse Facility we are currently in the process of installing a new 3 story material lift in an existing vent chase. We are now chopping out the slab and granite to make the new elevator pit. Please check back to watch this project progress.
New Renovation of 7,000 Sq. Ft. for the E,E,E Department that furnished new faculty office space and conference area that was taken from old lab space. The work included new drywall partitions that were fabricated with glass and polycarbonate panels, custom millwork with low partitions, new MEP’s to handle NYC energy requirements. Work also included the renovation to the 3,000 Sq. Ft. hallway with paint, ceiling, lights, and signage.
Fairchild New Lab Suites
1,500 Sq. Ft. conversion from a library space to a new suite for biology students to use and study. The space also features directors of the department offices and a conference room. Work entailed new demising walls and drywall partitions, new mechanical, electrical and fire alarm systems. Work features a freestanding poly-carb white board wall for instructional use.
